Judy talks back pain and problems with her day to day life style and how Dr. Alkhoury made that all go away.

Judy talk to us about her problems with neck, back and shoulder pain and how it hindered her to the point where she was unable to engage in her job role on a day to day basis. Her pain emerged to a point where it was no longer bearable creating much difficulty during her sleep at night. Dr. Alkhoury’s team helped her through her difficulties and was able to help her sleep for extended periods of time with little to no interruption as opposed to her constant struggle to catch a good night rest over the previous 4 to 5 years time.
Transcript Alright Judy so when you came in to my practice what were your symptoms what were the sort of base line symptoms that drove you to my practice?
I was having a lot of pain in my C4 and C5 area and I had seen my doctor, I had seen my neurologist, I saw my chiropractor, orthopedic, - everyone and I got different answers from everybody who mostly said I have arthritis that I could not sleep nights. Every two three hours id be up and I had a lot of pain and I could not be on the computer because I would have a sharp pain in the back like with a scalpel on the right side, and I did not think it could be possibly related to TMJ because I never had any jaw pain or anything like that – but I tried everything else and I could not stand the pain ay longer so we decided to try it and we started feeling it within the first week.

So you started a 3 month treatment into 12 weeks and what happened during that and after?
Well during that the pain got less and less and within a week I had no pain in the scapular area and had no pain whilst I was on the computer for 12 hours which my work as a social worker required. And now I can press very hard on that C3,4,5 area and there is no pain at all.

So now it has been about 2 months after finishing the treatment and how are the symptoms?
Rarely ever any

No more neck shoulder pain?
Shoulder yes but that is healing from the shoulder surgery I had and that is very different

Are you sleeping better at night?
I can sleep 8 to 10 hours no problem

If I wake up and go to the bathroom, I can go right back to sleep.

Are you happy overall?
Oh yes I am much better and the wonderful thing is being able to get on the computer, do my jo and I don’t have that sharp red hot iron in the back of my scapula I don’t have any tenderness.

How long did you have those symptoms for?
Or 4 to 5 years for a long time

And nobody was able to help you?

And you feel now that we helped you?
Oh yeah the pain is gone

Thank you
