At Brentwood Family Dental we offer several treatment options to whiten and lighten your teeth; to restore their bright color and luster.

If you'd prefer to whiten your teeth in the privacy of your own home, and don't require overnight results, we recommend the Take Home system. We prepare custom trays from impressions of your own teeth. Whenever it's convenient for you, you place a clinical bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for an hour at a time. The Take Home method gives you the opportunity to whiten your teeth as often as you want and for as long as you want, to keep that smile dazzling.

But suppose you need a whiter smile right away – perhaps to look terrific for an important meeting, wedding, or class reunion. Our in-office Zoom whitening process is perfect! In one visit, in about an hour, you'll have noticeably whiter teeth. In most cases you can expect to leave with teeth four shades lighter.

In rare situations a patient may not be able to tolerate wearing the trays at home. Again, Zoom can be their solution to teeth whitening.

Some patients experience sensitivity from either an at-home or in-office whitening procedure. Rest assured that this discomfort is minor and usually passes within two days. If you notice this sensation just after whitening, you may want to limit very hot and very cold foods briefly. And please contact our office if it persists – it could be a condition unrelated to tooth whitening that needs dental attention.
