Orthodontic treatment is something we typically consider when children have completed their transition from baby teeth to permanent teeth. Many dentists, including Dr. Alkhoury, may begin evaluating the oral structure as it relates to potential orthodontic treatment as early as age 7. Adolescents are typically those on whom we see braces. Tooth straightening treatment has long been performed during the time of life in which baby teeth have been replaced with those teeth which will last a lifetime.
